Firmware v0.9

Firmware v0.9 is a focused update that deepens the Flag Ceremony system into a real performance tool, tightens MIDI clock and LFO sync, and adds light scene attribution so your work can carry your name.

Firmware v0.9

Highlights

  • Flag Ceremony, fully wired — Scenes can now run dedicated action lists when the flag is raised or lowered. Raise/lower is no longer just a status indicator; it’s a first-class performance trigger, configurable on-device and in the web scene editor.
  • Flag timing for any action — Schedule an action to fire on the next flag raise or lower, alongside existing beat, bar, and transport timing. Useful for cueing effects, scene changes, or morphs at a deliberate “now” moment you control with the flag.
  • Continuous flag thresholds — Continuous mappings (expression, sensors, CCs, etc.) can raise or lower the flag when a value crosses a threshold. The flag becomes an automatic gate driven by your playing, not only a manual button.
  • MIDI clock catch-up — Optional catch-up mode retransmits missed MIDI clock ticks so downstream devices stay locked when the host briefly hiccups. Default remains drop-missed (preserve phase); turn catch-up on when your gear needs every tick.
  • Tighter LFO sync — Improved beat-interval tracking and phase alignment so LFOs stay locked to tempo more reliably, with cleaner MIDI LFO output (less filtering lag when values change).
  • Your handle on scenes — Set a short user handle (up to 12 characters) that appears in About / config and is stored as the scene’s creator. Makes sharing and identifying scenes clearer as libraries grow.

Bonus round

AC Noises Continua added to the built-in pedal library (catalog now 227 devices). Pedal picker UX — Selecting the current pedal is a clearer submenu flow in the scene and device menus. Stronger pedal definition validation — Discrete CC value ranges are checked more carefully, reducing broken or incomplete device profiles in the editor. Scope naming fix — UI module catalog correctly labels Scope (and Pixels ordering) for clearer screen selection. Global pedal handling polish — Scene editor reloads device definitions more reliably when the assigned pedal changes.
